Lauren Conrad talks about her experience of deadly ectopic pregnancy
The world is coming together to support the belief of women getting access to safe abortion. Many female celebrities have voiced their opinions on the subject and are sharing their personal experiences of abortion they received in their lifetime.
Now, just 4 days after the Roe vs Wade outbreak, Lauren Conrad is sharing a painful experience of her ectopic pregnancy that she suffered six years ago.
The former reality star took to her social media to share the unpleasant experience she faced while attempting to start a family with her husband William Tell whom she married in 2014.
On Tuesday, Conrad wrote:
” The last few days have been hard. I’ve been searching for the right words, and reposting someone else’s didn’t feel quite right.”
“I wanted to share my own experience with lifesaving reproductive care.”
The Hills alum, who now has two sons Liam,4, and Charlie,2, continued:
”Due to prompt medical care, doctors saved my fallopian tubes, allowing me to have two healthy pregnancies,”

Conrad grieved the death of a woman who died due to ectopic pregnancy
Sharing the story of a woman who died due to her ectopic pregnancy, the former MTV personality continued:
“Yesterday I read about a woman with this same condition having her ectopic pregnancy rupture — and facing death — while waiting for treatment,”
“Because her doctor was on the phone with his lawyer out of fear of losing his medical license (for using a D& C as a tool to help establish the diagnosis of an ectopic pregnancy). This is heartbreaking [sic].”
Conrad who was disheartened by the news urged her social media followers to listen to and respect the stories like hers.
She further added:
” I hope someday we will be in a place where every woman has access to the healthcare she needs and the freedom to decide what happens in her own body,”
