Lee Horsley made his moving acting debut playing Prince Talon in the 1982 movie The Sword and the Sorcerer. He was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Actor for his performance in the movie.

He played the title character in the 1982–85 ABC detective series Matt Houston and starred as Ethan Allen Cord in the 1988–91 Western Heritage Award-winning series Paradise.
