Congratulations to Lindsay Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas who recently welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.

The American actress, 37, and the Kuwaitian businessman named their son Luai and the whole family is very much in love with the newest member.

The Mean Girls actress’s reps said,

‘Lindsay Lohan and her financier husband , Bader Shammas welcomed a beautiful , healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love.’

The baby was born in Dubai where the couple currently lives and reports believe that he was born on Monday.

As for the unique name’s meaning, Luai in Arabic means ‘shield or protector.’

According to TMZ, Lohan’s family will soon travel to Dubai to meet the baby boy. One of the most famous millennial teen stars of the 90s and early 2000s, Lohan shot to fame with her catchy roles in famous films like The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, and Mean Girls.

However, the redheaded beauty paid a price for her fame.

Along with very public battles with addiction and partying, she also had issues with her parents, Michael and Dina Lohan.

In 2021, Lohan surprised millions of fans by announcing her engagement to financier Bader Shammas.

She gushed about her fiance, writing, ‘My love. My life, family and future,’

The couple tied the knot on April 3, 2022.

One year later in March 2023, the lovebirds announced that the Georgia Rule star announced that she and Bader were expecting their first child together.

Just a week after revealing her pregnancy news on Instagram, the actress told US Weekly,

‘We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives.’

Her pregnancy was a wonderful way of reconnecting her with her estranged parents as well.
