Married actor Idris Elba diagnosed with Coronavirus? His past relationship and marriage

The English actor Idris Elba has some bad news to share.
Some days after Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were diagnosed with Covid-19 again the news of Idris broke out.
Idris has tested positive for Covid-19. He received his test results on 16th March 2020.

According to the video posted on his Twitter, his condition is fine and he does not have any symptoms of the virus.

He found out on Friday 14th March that he had been exposed to someone who tested positive for the virus. Since then The Wire actor has isolated himself.

Similarly, he has asked people to keep social distance and wash their hands more often.

Idris wrote on Twitter,

“Stay home people and be pragmatic,”

Similarly, he added,

“Look we live in a divided world right now…but now is a time for solidarity. Now is a time for thinking about each other. There are so many people whose lives have been affected.”

Who is Idris Elba married to?

The 47-year-old actor Idris Elba had no plan of getting married until he met his now-wife Sabrina Dhowre.

Elba revealed,

“We’ve been literally inseparable since we met,”

They first met each other in 2017 while hanging out at a jazz bar in Vancouver. He had been filming The Mountain Between Us. He claimed that it was love at first sight.

Similarly, he revealed,

“You know, I’m 47 this year, been married and lived a full life before I even met Sabrina,”
“It wasn’t something that I wanted to do, get married again. But…”

Elba proposed to Sabrina in February 2018 after he popped the question at a film screening in London. Their marriage was held on 26th April 2019 in Marrakesh.

After Idris tested positive for Coronavirus his wife also tested but her reports came negative.

Idris has been in a couple of relationships. He has been married twice before getting married, to Sabrina. Idris married his first wife Hanne ‘Kim’ Norgaard in June 1999.

Their marriage did not work out so they divorced after four years of marriage. Hanne and Idris have a daughter Isan born in 2002.

After Kim, he married Sonya Hamlin on 9th April 2006 in Sonya Hamlin. Their marriage did not last longer than six months. They divorced on 11th August 2006.

Idris dated Naiyana Garth. With her, he became a father for the second time. Naiyana gave birth to their son Winston Elba on 17th April 2014.

Other than that, Idris had a ten-year affair with pole dancer Desiree Newberry before marrying his second wife Sonya Nicole Hamlin.
