Mindy Kaling welcomed her first baby

Mindy Kaling is now mother to a baby girl Katherine Kaling. According to the E! News, she gave birth to her daughter on Friday, December 15.

Since the announcement of the pregnancy, she has not yet shared the identity of the baby’s father.

During her pregnancy, while talking to host Willie Geist, she revealed that she was excited about the new adventure.

Furthermore, she also added:

“I have a lot of control over a lot of aspects of my life, and this is one where I’m like, ‘OK, it’s out of my hands,’ which is kind of a fun feeling.”

Later on, when the host asked what type of parent she is going to be, she responded:

“It’s so easy to criticize parenting until you’re a parent, so one of the nice things about becoming a parent is that I’ll be able to openly criticize other parenting because I will have a child.”

Furthermore, also talking about parenthood, she also said that her late mother, Swati Roysircar, set a great example. Moreover, she added:

“My mom was incredibly fierce and so devoted to us, just loved us and really wanted us to be happy no matter what we did. My career choice was not something that she was familiar with and she was just so supportive of that. And if I could give that to my child, just that open-mindedness, I’d be so happy.”

Mindy has not yet posted the snap of her newborn on social media.

Mindy Kaling announced her pregnancy

According to the E! News American actress, Mindy Kaling announced that she is pregnant with her first baby.

Through the announcement of her pregnancy, she did not reveal the father of the baby she is expecting.

Previously, in 2015 while talking to Yahoo News, she had expressed her will to have a baby.
