Nick Cannon, 42, welcomed his ninth child, a baby girl Onyx Ice Cole Cannon with model LaNisha Cole in September. The TV presenter has since had a 10th child, a son named Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell who is also mother to his kids Golden and Powerful Queen.

Onyx, the newly born baby has recently been the subject of trolling all over the internet. LaNisha has come forward this month to reveal that some cruel trolls had been sending about her baby. On Friday, October 14, she took to the IG story to share that Onyx has received “disgusting” death threats.

She wrote on her Instagram Story,

“Making death threats against a baby is a new low. Some of you guys are disgusting. Regardless of how you feel about my life, it’s never that deep to threaten my baby.”

Similarly, LaNisha later added,

“People say the craziest things to me sometimes but I’ll continue to stay positive. I’m focused on my daughter and my work… my 2 top priorities. No matter how you feel just remember that there’s a real person behind the pics and videos you see on social media. Say what you want about me, just keep my kid out of it.”

Nick Cannon took a stand for his child and his baby’s mama

Nick and LaNisha announced their baby girl’s arrival in last month with black-and-white hospital pictures. At the time, the “Masked Singer” went on to request his followers not to send hateful messages to his baby and his baby’s mama, LaNisha Cole.

Nick said,

“As we all know I am not easily triggered and have quite tough skin and have always been an open book but not everyone in my family has that same level of strength. So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children,”

He then concluded his statement by saying,

“If you are truly concerned during this time of Spiritual Warfare, my inner struggles with self, mental wellness and physical health concerns… Just continue to pray for me and my entire family that God will grant us Peace that surpasses all Understanding.”
