Pregnant Naomi Osaka is expecting a baby girl

Naomi Osaka, who is currently pregnant with her first child, hosted a gender reveal party to celebrate her forthcoming baby.

On Friday, June 2, she took to Instagram to announce the sex of her unborn baby sharing pictures from her princess-themed party.

She shared a series of pictures of herself posing surrounded by pink and purple balloons. The decor also includes a giant pink mushroom prop, while a sign behind her reads,

“A little princess is on the way!”

For the baby shower, she opted for a casual look flaunting her growing baby bump in a white crop top. Similarly, the last photo featured her rapper boyfriend Cordae in which he can be seen kissing Osaka’s baby bump.

Further, the four-time Grand Slam singles champion, 25, simply captioned the post with a series of emojis including a smiley face, a white heart, and a purple heart.

Cordae didn’t know the sex of their unborn baby until the gender reveal party

In a February interview with PEOPLE, Osaka disclosed she knew the baby’s sex but didn’t reveal it to her boyfriend, Corde. She said to the outlet at the time,

“I’ve been preparing, but he doesn’t know the gender yet, only I know. So it’s not like I can build out the room or anything. So I don’t know, [I’m] just kind of winging it. That’s kind of the key motto in my life a little.”

The gender reveal party comes almost five months after the pair announced their pregnancy news to the world.

In January, Osaka shared an ultrasound screen and a lengthy letter with a message in both English and Japanese language revealing she and her boyfriend are expecting their first child together.
