Sad Princess Anne pays her respects to the Queen’s coffin
Princess Anne was emotional as she paid her heartfelt tribute to her late mum Queen Elizabeth II as her Majesty began her final journey.
The princess curtsied to the Queen as her coffin entered the Palace of the Holyroodhouse in Scotland on Sunday.
Anne stood at the gate with her husband Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence as she looked visibly shaken and low.
The princess’s younger brother Prince Andrew,62, and Sophie Countess of Wessex,57, also joined her in the solemn moment.
Her emotional curtsy left the viewers teary-eyed all emotional. Apart from being a working royal, Anne is also a former Olympic equestrian rider.
Princess Royal followed her mom’s coffin on a six-hour journey from Balmoral to Holyroodhouse house where her Majesty passed away on September 8 at 96.
At one point, Sophie, wife of the Queen’s youngest son, Prince Edward was seen comforting Anne as she struggled to move after seeing her mom’s coffin.

The public praised Anne’s devotion even in such a difficult time
The image of the princess curtsying made global headlines and royal fans praised her bravery and devotion to her mother. and Queen.

Princess Royal was born on August 15, 1950, to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philips. She is now the sister of King Charles III.
Anne shared a great relationship with the Queen and was a devoted working royal who committed her life to fulfil the duties her role demanded.
