Princess Charlotte looks radiant in her new birthday pictures.

Princess Charlotte today celebrates her 7th birthday. To mark the joyous occasion, the palace released three new pictures of the princess taken by the Duchess of Cambridge in their Norfolk home.

The happy pictures show princess Charlotte wearing a baby blue sweater sitting among bluebells and in one of the pictures, she can be seen hugging her favorite pet, Orla.

The princess’s 7th birthday comes just days after her parents celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on April 29.

Charlotte is fourth in line to the throne after her grandfather Prince Charles, father Prince William, and elder brother George. Among three children, she is the only daughter of the royal couple.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been taking pictures of all her children on their birthdays. She also happens to be the Patron of the Royal Photographic Society.

Several weeks ago, she released some beautiful portraits of her youngest son, Prince Louis to mark his fourth birthday.

The Cambridge family spends most of their time in their Norfolk home or in the Queen’s Sandringham estate.

The princess attended two public engagements recently. In March, she accompanied her parents and big brother to Westminster Abbey for the memory service of her late great grandfather Prince Philips, the Duke of Edinburgh. Next, she attended the Easter Sunday service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor with her family.

Princess Charlotte attends the St. Thomas’s Battersea, a private school near their home, Kensington Palace in London. Her brother Prince George is also enrolled in the same school. Their friends do not address them as Prince or Princess there. Their teachers and classmates call them George Cambridge and Charlotte Cambridge.
