Princess Polly as a lady Green Goblin
Princess Polly caused quite a stir at the 75th Annual Emmys Awards red carpet, which took place on January 15, 2024, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race star showed up as the scary monster, which caused a bit of awe and confusion in the star-studded show.
She spoke to Entertainment Weekly about her appearance on the red carpet,
“I wanted to do the exact opposite of what is expected of you when you go to an event like this. I wanted to take decorum and turn it on its head, Mainly I wanted to be a troll-slash-hag. I wanted to be so shocking that you just have to turn and look at me — in the worst way possible.”
Meanwhile, Polly showed up as the Green Goblin, complete with prosthetic warts and other realistic features.
Her ensemble included a strapless green and gold gown designed by Australian costume designer Bryn Meredith.
The lady goblin also had white long hair, big prosthetic ears, and a nose. She then accessorized with puffy lime green mules and an embroidered cubical bag.
Further, she added a necklace with a pendant of the initial “PP,” created by Kyle Bowers.
In addition to Princess Polly, several fellow contestants from season 15 attended the awards show, such as Sasha Colby, Robin Fierce, Malaysia Babydoll Foxx, and others.
