On 16 July 2012, he signed a multi-year contract with the Raptors but on 9 December 2013, he was traded to Sacramento Kings.

He recorded 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 block in his debut game from the Kings against Houston Rockets. On 6 August 2014, he was traded to New York Knicks along with Travis Outlaw in exchange for Wayne Ellington and Jeremy Tyler. On 22 July 2015, he resigned from the Kings for a year and then joined Dallas Mavericks on 20 July 2016. He was soon released from the Mavericks after playing six games and he was acquired by the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League.

Quincy Acy was traded to Mavericks D-League affiliate team Texas Legends and recorded 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks in a debut game against Greensboro Swarm. On 10 January 2017, he signed a 10-day deal with Brooklyn Nets and he again resigned a 10 more day deal with the Nets. On 30 January 2017, he signed a multi-year contract with the Nets and since then he has been playing for the team Nets.
