Renn began her musical career in 1995 as the third member to join Deadsy after frontman Elijah Blue Allman sent him a Juno-106 synth and demo tape made by Allman and drummer Alec Puro.
Renn along with the band member released their self-titled album on August 1, 1996. Likewise, the band released their second studio album “Commencement” in May 2002, and their third album “Phantasmagore” in August 2006.
However, the band went on hiatus in April 2007 following the year Renn began a career in carpentry.
In November 2018, the Deadsy band reformed and on July 14, 2020, Renn along with the band announced on social media that their forthcoming album titled “Subterfugue” is to be released in early 2021.
