Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley settle their dispute over family estate
Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley are no longer arguing over Lisa Marie Presley‘s estate which once belonged to Elvis Presley.
On Tuesday, the lawyers of both Priscilla and Riley announced that the ladies have finally settled their dispute at an LA court.
Elvis’s widow’s lawyer Ronson Shamoun said in his statement,
‘The families are happy and unified and together and excited for the future.’
When asked if Lisa’s eldest daughter was happy with the settlement, her attorney Justin Gold revealed,
‘She would not have agreed to the settlement if she was not happy with it.’
Tensions in the family started making headlines just two weeks after Lisa Marie’s shocking demise in January. Priscilla legally challenged her daughter’s will which states Riley as the only wealthy Promenade Trust controller.
The 33-year-old actress was both heartbroken and furious when her elderly grandmother protested the will in court. However, Keough did not file an objection to her granny’s challenge.
But on Tuesday, the family members solved their issues and settled their differences.

Lisa removed Priscilla as a trustee after an argument
The public will never know how they settled their differences as Keough’s attorney said that he planned to file a motion to seal the details of the family settlement from the general public.
Riley always stuck by her mother’s side during her tough times like drawn out, troubled divorces and child custody disputes with her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood. The musician is the father of Presley’s twins, Finley and Harper, 14.
Multiple reports suggest that Priscilla and Lisa Marie were barely speaking before the latter’s demise.
A source told after Lisa’s death,
”Riley was always on her mom’s side when it came to Michael (Lockwood).”
”It bothered her that her grandmother and Michael flew to (Lisa Marie’s) funeral together.”
Priscilla even allowed Michael to get into Elvis’s estate for the funeral ceremony despite her late daughter’s wishes. A family friend later said,
”Michael was not invited,”
”He came to Memphis under the pretense that he had to chaperone the twins – and he forced his way in with Priscilla’s help.”
”The last thing Lisa Marie would have wanted was for Michael to be there.”
The grandmother-granddaughter rift started when Priscilla took the matter to court just days after Presley’s memorial service.
In 2016, Elvis’s only child changed her will by removing Priscilla and her ex-manager Barry Siegel as trustees and replacing them with her oldest daughter.
Harper and Finley are both beneficiaries of their mom’s trust while Lockwood is not.
