He then went to play for Cremonese and Ancona on loan from 2007-08 and 2008-09 respectively. In 2009, he returned to his former club, Palermo, and represented the team till 2011.

After that, he was part of the Ligue 1 club, Paris Saint Germain from 2011 to 2016. With this team, he won 4 consecutive Ligue 1 titles, 4 consecutive Trophée des Champions, 3 consecutive Coupe de la Ligue, and 2 consecutive Coupe de France titles.

Salvatore Sirigu was also included in the 2012-14 Ligue 1 Team of the Year and 2012-14 Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year.

Later in 2016, he played for Spanish clubs like Sevilla and Osasuna in a loan deal from the 2016-2017 season.

Salvatore Sirigu left Osasuna and joined Torino in 2017 and is currently playing in the same team as a goalkeeper. He also plays at the international level for the Italian National team.
