Travis Barker’s ex Shanna Moakler recently via her Social media account revealed the tragic death of her mother Gail Mokler. As the death post of Travis Barker’s ex-mother-in-law read, she is dead at 77. In a recent interview with People.

Shanna told,

“I am so thankful for all the friends and family that have reached out and sent their condolences. My mother was a beautiful and kind and loving woman, and she was everything that I hope to be.”

Shanna, 47, keeps on adding how her mother was supportive of her all over the years, through her ups and downs.

“More than anything, she was my best friend, and I will miss her every day of my life. I understand that this is a part of life and something that we all can actually support one another with, which is the loss of someone we love. Godspeed.”

The former Miss USA who was the ex-wife of the blink-182 drummer Travis Barker frequently posts about both her mom and her dad, John Moakler, on social media. She is grateful to her parents to have brought her up this far in life, with their love, care, and nourishment.

In August 2021, Shanna paid tribute to her parents on the couple’s 50th anniversary, sharing a throwback photo of Gail and John. The Celebrity Big Brother alum then added a sweet caption as every beloved daughter does, it wrote,

It was on Mother’s Day 2021, that Shanna honored her mother Gail Moakler with a collage of throwback photos. The American fashion model and beauty pageant titleholder then revealed how she idolized her mother, her whole life, sharing a sweet carousel of snaps.

“Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful mom @gailmoakler how lucky I am to have a mom like you! You’re my best friend and my idol! I love you so much!.”

Who is Shanna Moakler?

Shanna Moakler is a former winner of the Miss New York USA pageant in 1995. Moakler then joined the cast of the VH1 reality series, Hollywood Exes in 2014. She was a former contestant on Celebrity Big Brother in 2022, as a houseguest.

Shanna is also the ex-wife of US drummer Travis Barker (2004- 2008). They used to run the reality TV series, Meet The Barkers. Barker is now married to Kourtney Kardashian in May 2022.

She shares son Landon Asher Barker, 19, and daughter Alabama, 17 with the drummer Travis Barker. Shanna also has a 23-year-old daughter, Atiana, she begets in her relationship with her ex-fiancé Oscar De La Hoya.
