She is the twenty-fourth season winner of the American reality television series “Big Brother”, and the first African American woman to win the show.

On July 5, 2022, it was reported by CBS Hale as a house guest on Big Brother 24. Some viewers found Hales’s comments to be microaggressive about her beauty and character. She won the two Head of Household competitions, one in week six and one in week eleven.

With a grand prize of $750,000 by the season’s jury, Taylor was awarded, winning by a vote of 8-1 over Monte Taylor. She became the first African-American woman to win a regular season of Big Brother.

Also, she is the first houseguest to win both games and America’s Favourite Houseguest Prize with an additional $50,000.

Hale won the most money of any houseguest in the history of the series with total cash winning of $800,000.

After a long year of postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the USA, Hale participated in and won the Miss Michigan USA 2021 pageant in August 2021. Though she did not win Miss USA 2021 but received the title of Miss Congeniality.
