Abby Wambach has played for Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) in summer 2005 where she appeared in five games, serving three assists, and scoring five goals.

After new professional league, Wambach was assigned with  Washington Freedom after Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) was formed in 2008.

Similarly, she was allocated to the National Women’s Soccer League club,  and then to Western New York Flash and to  U.S. women’s national soccer team (USWNT) from 2003 to 2015.

In addition, she played in FIFA Women’s World Cup (2003, 2007, 2011, 2015), Summer Olympics (2004, 2008, 2012).

Moreover, she is also an author and has written autobiographies Forward: My Story Young Readers’ Edition (2016), Forward: A Memoir (2016), and inspirational book Wolfpack.
