Noah Erb proposed to his girlfriend Abigail Heringer on Tuesday evening, August 9, in a romantic beachfront proposal with a sunset backdrop.
The couple took a milestone step in their relationship after dating for two years.
The newly engaged couple first met on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021.

Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb are committed to each other. The Bachelor in Paradise couple have announced their engagement after two years of dating.

The 28-year-old client financial manager took to Instagram on Wednesday, August 9 to share the happy news that she and Noah have taken a milestone step in their relationship.

She shared a gallery of pictures from the romantic beachfront proposal in La Jolla, San Diego, California along with a caption,

“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, and I want ‘em all,”

Erb, for his part, shared a similar photo on his Instagram story while writing next to the photo, “Forever has a nice ring to it.” He shared a photo of himself holding a bouquet of roses in another Instagram story while captioning,

“Went to trader J’s for a ridiculous amount of flowers and it turned into me hugging and telling everyone woman over the age of 80 I’m getting engaged. I couldn’t stop myself. They gave me advice and told stories about their husbands before they died. We laughed. We cried. We almost gave one a heart attack. Moral of the story is you can never have enough flowers for an engagement.”

Further, he shared a sweet clip of Heringer showing her engagement ring while writing next to the video, “In case anyone is wondering @abigail_heringer is engaged.”

While speaking to PEOPLE, he gushed about his engagement,

“It was stunning and exactly what she was hoping for! Our friends Hannah Sinclair and Emma Burke (photographer and videographer) helped us capture the moment which was so special!”

Erb then went on to acknowledge that the proposal came earlier than he scheduled as they planned their move back to his home state of Oklahoma. He recalled,

“I called her parents a couple days before to fill them in on my plans, Thomas helped me with the arrangements and get everything set up. The proposal was perfect and everything I wanted to incorporate to make it special and ours.”

Noah popped the question with a four-carat-oval-shaped diamond sparkler from Keyzar Jewelry. The ring features a pave band and a hidden halo.

The proposal took place on the balcony of an oceanfront property that was decorated with rose petals and candles overlooking the ocean with a sunset backdrop.

Videographer Emma shared a cute video from the proposal in which Noah honors his soon-to-be bride,

“Abby, honestly, you are the most beautiful person inside and out I’ve ever met, and it would be absolutely stupid if I didn’t ask you to be my wife and spend the rest of my life with you, So, that being said, I’ve rehearsed this quite a big, Abigail Heringer, will you marry me?”

In the video, Abigail Heringer is seen in happy tears during the proposal as soon as she said “Yes,” their friends and loved ones come together to celebrate them.

Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb: Love Story

Abigail and Noah first met on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021. During the show, their relationship didn’t work out as they broke up during a prom-themed date.

However, they rekindled their romance after the show. In October 2021, the travel nurse shared a shocking Instagram post announcing he and Abigail reuniting.

He shared an Instagram carousel of their cute moment alongside the background music “How Long Will I Love You ” by Ellie Goulding. Further, he captioned the post, writing,

“You never know what you have until it’s gone, then you never let it go, I love you @abigail_heringer , here is to laughing through life until we are old (World, meet my new GF, turns out we do know how to talk to eachother [sic] and I think I’ll keep her).”

In July, the couple bought a home together near Erb’s family in Tulsa.
