Adrienne Bailon has welcomed her first child, a boy, with her husband Israel Houghton. They name the boy Ever James.

The first time mum gushed about her little one and wrote on her Insta post:

”Our baby boy is here & we are so in love!”
“If you have followed our love story… you know that our journey to baby has been very challenging. But God is true to His word and His promises.”

The TV personality has always been very open about her struggles to have a baby. She said:

”We quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months. He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage.”

The Cheetah Girls actress added:

“All we feel is joy and overwhelming love & gratitude.”

The 38-year-old didn’t provide any further information about her baby. However, she said that they welcomed their son via surrogate.

Toward the end of the post, Adrienne thanked her loved ones for all their love and support over the years as they started their journey of parenthood.

She concluded:

“He’s here. We have never been happier to lose sleep!”

Adrienne had difficulty getting pregnant in the past

The new mum shared a new black-and-white photo of the new parents cuddling their son who was wrapped in a blanket.

Many of Adrienne’s followers including her former The Real co-host Jeannie Mai Jenkins. The new mom commented:

“HE IS HERE!!!! “Lord thank you for this gift You spent quality time making for Israel and Ade. Every second of perfection. Thank you for His genius mind and adorable smile that’s bout to light up our world! We’ve been waiting for u Ever!! Monaco’s ready for matching outfits.”

Adrienne and Israel married in a romantic Parisian ceremony in November 2016. After two years of marriage, she shared her excitement to be a mum despite having difficulty getting pregnant.

In a magazine interview, she said:

“I refuse to let this be the end of my story,”
“I know that it’s not. And I love it that I tell myself, it’s not a question of will I be a mother, it’s a question of when. And I promised myself that I’m sticking to it.”
