Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver‘s marriage has finally come to an end! The ex-couple who have not been together for more than a decade finally got their divorce finalized. They announced their separation in May 2011 and a Los Angeles judge finalized their divorce on 28th December 2021.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver walked down the aisle on 26th April 1986. They met at a tennis event nine years prior. The ex-couple welcomed four children together Katherine Schwarzenegger born on 13th December 1989, Christina Schwarzenegger now C.
Maria Aurelina S. was born on 23rd July 1991, Patrick Schwarzenegger was born on 18th September 1993, and Christopher Sargent Shriver Schwarzenegger was born on 27th September 1997.
Arnold and Maria’s marriage ended after 25 years of news of Arnold’s affair. He had an affair with their former housekeeper, Mildred Patty Barna, in 1997. They welcomed a son Joseph Baena on 2nd October 1997.
Arnold said,
“I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”
Maria filed for divorce in July 2011 and their daughter Eunice cited ‘irreconcilable differences as the reason for their divorce. She asked him to pay the attorney’s fees and spousal support.
