Billie Lourd, 29 says “I do” to producer Austen Rydell, 29.

The two exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony over the weekend. Lourd, the daughter of late actor Carrie Fisher and the granddaughter of late Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds paid tribute to both women, who died a daypart in December 2016.

The beautiful couple’s wedding took place on Saturday (March 12) in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. On Tuesday afternoon, they took to Instagram to announce the happy news with several photos from the couple’s special day.

Before that, Leslie Grossman posted an IG story on Sunday in which she wrote,

“Billie and Austen’s wedding weekend is over, which is so sad cause it was the most fun. But I won best dressed, and I may have bribed the judges. I may have done whatever I needed to do to get this trophy. But I got it.”

The two first met in 2016 and started dating but they split briefly after the relationship. They had an on-again and off-again romance and their reunion seemed to be permanent in 2018. After two years, Rudell popped the question to Lourd in June 2020.

Lourd and Rydell are already parents to one and a half year son Fisher Lourd Rydell, who was born in September 2020. The duo has kept Billie’s pregnancy a secret and announced the birth of her son Kingston as a surprise to everyone.

Wedding Attire

The 29-years old bride looked like an angel in a lavish Rodarte gown featuring a flattering off-the-shoulder neckline and full skirt, crafted from layers of white tulle.

Similarly, she accessorized her dress with an array of jewelry, including her engagement ring.

The ring contained the diamond Billie’s father Bryan Lourd proposed to Carrie with which Austen re-set the stone for Billie’s ring. Further, she wore other two different dresses over the wedding weekend.

Including the Oscar de la Renta gown in which she tucked white flowers into her braided hair. For her after-party dress she wore a Rodarte dress inspired by the dance outfit her late grandma, Debbie Reynolds wore during her shows. Similarly, the groom dressed up formally in a black suit underneath a white shirt with a bow tie.

Billie and Austen’s wedding ceremony were intimate, with just family and the closer of friends in attendance. Their wedding was held on the sunset beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and their wedding planner was Mark Seed.

A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the bride’s father, Bryan Lourd paid for a block of rooms at the hotel venue for all guests, and they enjoyed a private pool party on Friday afternoon. Similarly, the couple organized a ‘Floral Friday’ themed rehearsal dinner.
