The actor wore his wedding ring for the first time in public ever since marrying Alba Baptista, as he posed for a snap at New York Comic Con this week.

A lucky fan who goes by @alssiax on X (formerly Twitter), got to meet the actor and shared a photo in both color and black-and-white formats. She captioned it, “So happy to meet Chris Evans again.”

The Marvel star, 42, looked very happy to be posing with his fan. He flashed a huge smile and wrapped his arm around her. Anyone who looks at the photo carefully can see a wedding band on his left ring finger.

For the event, the Knives Out star looked dapper in red pants, a white T-shirt, and a brown jacket. He accessorized his look with a gold necklace.

Page Six reported on September 10 that the actor married the Portuguese actress, 26, secretly at their Boston-area home. Despite being a super intimate ceremony, various A-listers like Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, and Robert Downey Jr., attended the nuptials.

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt supported the happy couple as well.

After the intimate American ceremony, the couple also apparently planned to celebrate their wedding once more in Baptista’s home country for the family members and friends who couldn’t make it to the original wedding.

Chris will be doing fewer movies to focus on his marriage

As for the honeymoon, Evans told this month’s GQ profile that he will be taking fewer jobs in order to focus on his personal life.

He said,

“I haven’t worked all year, and I don’t plan to, which has been lovely,”

The Captain America star added,

“My girlfriend that I’ve had for a while, when we began dating, I was like, ‘Yeah, I do one movie a year. I try to never work now,’”

Chris made the comment not so long before he and Baptista said I DO.
