Chris Evans is off the market! The Sexiest Man Alive, 42, got married to his girlfriend Alba Baptista less than a year after confirming their relationship.

The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on Friday, September 9, at a private estate in Cape Cod, Mass.

The wedding was “locked down tight,” a source said Page Six, with guests signing NDAs and phones being forfeited.

Similarly, the couple invited their closest loved ones to attend the “beautiful” ceremony. The attendance includes the actor’s Marvel co-stars, including Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner.

Additionally, Jamie Chung, Bryan Greenberg, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, and others attended.

The newlywed couple first sparked romance rumors in November 2022 after PEOPLE confirmed they had been dating for “over a year. The outlet reported,

“They are in love, and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.”

The couple was then pictured holding hands in Central Park just hours after the news broke.

The “Captain America: Civil War” actor spoke to PEOPLE in November 2022 about his wish to settle down and have a family. However, he didn’t mention the Portuguese actress at the time.

“That’s absolutely something I want — wife, kids, building a family, When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”

He continued,

“So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important. I love the idea of tradition and ceremony, I had a lot of that in my life so the idea of creating that, I can’t think of anything better.”
