Find out why Chris Martin skips dinner
Chris Martin recently revealed that he doesn’t eat dinner anymore.
Just a week after his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow received backlash for her controversial diet, the singer said on Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast that he doesn’t have dinner anymore.
The Sky Full of Stars singer explained,
“I stop eating at 4, and I learned that from having lunch with Bruce Springsteen.”
“I was lucky enough to go over there to lunch the day after we played Philadelphia last year,”
The 46-year-old also noted that ”he was on a really strict diet anyway.”
Chris also revealed that it was Bruce Springsteen who inspired him to make his habits his next challenge because the 73-year-old rock legend looked fitter than he did at the time.
Bruce’s wife told Martin that the Dancing in the Dark singer only eats one meal a day, the Yellow singer said to himself, “Well, there we go.”
The singer joked that his single meal consists of “flank of buffalo with a steroid sauce.”
Fans took to the comment section to give their opinion on Chris’s eating habits.
One person wrote,
”Chris and Gwyneth love talking about their diets…’‘
Another added,
”Oh my God no wonder I noticed how thin Bruce has gotten. WTH? And Chris has always been rail thin.”
A third fan chimed in,
”Doesn’t eat after 4pm? Must be a clocks thing.”

Martin and Paltrow always maintained a strict diet
Paltrow on the other hand, came under fire for practicing intermittent fasting, waiting until 12 p.m. to eat her first meal of the day.
The Goop founder said in the March 13 episode of the Art of Being Well podcast,
“I have bone broth for [lunch] a lot of the days,”
“Then for dinner I try to eat according to paleo, so lots of vegetables.”
The Oscar-winning actress defended herself after receiving backlash from Meghan McCain, Tess Holliday, and many other stars for her starvation diet last week.
Apart from the infamous diet trouble, Paltrow is also currently on trial for apparently leaving a doctor with a brain injury during a ski trip in 2016.
On Friday, she took to her Instagram Story to blame her choices on “very high levels of inflammation” from long COVID-19.
The Iron Man actress explained,
“I have been really working to really focus on foods that aren’t inflammatory,”
The Shakespeare in Love actress told her fans that her habits were not “meant to be advice for anyone else” as they were solely “based on [her] medical results and extensive testing.”
After Paltrow’s marriage to Martin from 2003 to 2016, the then-couple ate basically nothing, as claimed by their personal chef.
Kate McAloon said in 2017,
“They are very strict,”
”They avoided any sugars, anything sweet, no dairy, just more vegetables.”
