Elisabeth Moss is going to be a mom.

The Emmy-winning actress, 41, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, January 30, where she officially debuted her baby bump as she walked over and sat next to the host.

During the interview, Jimmy addressed her bump and jokingly asked,

“Are you pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor?”

The Handmaid’s Tale actress then simply responded with a laugh,

“A little bit of both,”

Elisabeth further opened up about her pregnancy after the host, 52, asked her about the experience.

“Not bad, actually. I’ve been really lucky. It’s been going really well.”

This is the first time Moss talks about her pregnancy as she’s private about her personal life.

The actress later asked Jimmy, who is a dad of four, if he had any advice for her regarding being a new parent.

The chat show host then shared that the best advice his wife received before their child was born came from comedy legend Bill Murray.

“He said bring Christmas lights to hang up [in the delivery room]. Because the lighting is terrible in the room. It’s Walmart-style lighting for this blessed event that’s going to happen and you don’t want that.”

Elisabeth was open to the advice and responded positively,

“I think that’s a really good list, I like that,”

Who is the father of Elisabeth Moss’ baby?

It’s been unclear who the father of the child is, as the actress has not shared any information on the matter.

Over the years, she has been keeping her love life private. Last time, she dated Australian cinematographer Adam Arkapaw.

In 2012, the former couple began dating after meeting on the New Zealand set of the mini-series Top of the Lake. However, their romance didn’t last long as they split up in 2015.

She appeared in a large pink robe, covering what looked like a bump. At one point, she was seen chatting with Max Minghella, who is directing the film, during a break.

In December of 2023, rumors began to circulate that Moss may be pregnant due to her noticeable physical changes.
