Drag Queen Gigi Goode comes out as a transgender after coming out as non-binary previously
She has undergone facial feminization surgery
She came out months after her procedure in January

Gigi Goode has come out as a transgender! She revealed that she is transitioning and has undergone facial feminization surgery. In a lengthy Instagram video, she shared about the procedure. Gigi said,

“I don’t even know how to start this. Let’s just jump right into it, you know what I mean? I guess, without beating around the bush, around eight months ago in January, right at the beginning of the year, I decided to begin the process of hormone replacement therapy.”

She made it clear to those people who don’t know that the process of taking estrogen and testosterone blockers is a means of bringing in the woman and pushing out the man. She added,

“I’m just going to look a little bit more feminine or like I was born a female. I know the influence that strangers on social media have on these types of situations and so I knew when I started that I wanted this to be a journey that I was going on by myself on my own without any input from the outside world…”

Gigi underwent the procedure back in January but decided to hold off till now. She had come out as gender-fluid two years ago and is happy with what she has become. The pandemic gave her time to reflect on her life and process everything.

Gigi Goode’s real last name is Geggie but she no longer feels the need to go by her legal name and would prefer ‘Gigi’ both in and out of drag.
Her mother Kristi Geggie is a theatrical costume designer who constructs most of her outfits.

She first made a performance in drag on her 15th birthday.
Gigi came out as genderfluid during the taping of the show.
Her icon is rapper Iggy Azalea.
Goode won the 2020 People’s Choice Award for ‘Choice Competition Constestant’.

She designed a shirt for Playboy’s pride t-shirt collection and modeled the shirt for their website.
