Jacksepticeye is an Irish YouTuber, Producer, Game Commentator, and social media personality.

He is best known for his vlogs and comedic on his self-titled YouTube channel.

Jacksepticeye was born on February 7, 1990, in Athlone, Ireland. His real name is Seán William McLoughlin but better known by her online alias Jacksepticeye.

He is the youngest child of  John McLoughlin (father) and Florrie McLoughlin (mother). Sean has four siblings two older sisters named Allison, and Susan and two older brothers named Malcolm, and Simon.

Talking about his nationality, he is of Irish descent.

He attended music technology and production at Limerick Institute of Technology however, he dropped out of college.

Later on, he earned a bachelor’s degree in hotel management at Athlone, County Westmeath.

Jacksepticeye was a drummer for an indie metalcore band, Raised to the Ground before pursuing a YouTube career. The band also released one EP titled Risen from the Ashes in 2009.

On February 24, 2007, he created his YouTube account under the username ‘Jacksepticeye’ and it was only in 2012 that he began his career and uploaded the first video titled Solid Snake impression.

He then started producing ‘Let’s Play video games of ‘Dark Souls and ‘Far Cry 3’. His fan following grew up when he won a PewDiePie shout-out competition in 2013.

As of now, he has more than 27.6m subscribers on his YouTube channel. One of his most popular videos is “Mirror’s Edge with the Oculus Rift”.
