In 2007, he showed his talent as an interior designer with his reality television show, Flipping Out. The show was first aired on Bravo TV on the 31st of July 2007. The show was based on his design project. It ran till 2017 completing its’ tenth season.

Later a spinoff show, Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis was aired on the same channel which ran for 2 years only.

The interior designer once had been a subject of a restraining order when things were worst between neighbors, Ashley Jensen and Terence Beesley.

The conflict among the neighbors started when Lewis constructed a deck that crossed the property line of Jensen and Beesley.

For that, they sue Lewis seeking $100k for an easement. However, that didn’t go well with Lewis, and started reacting negatively.

Hence, Jensen and Beesley filed a restraining order against him. Later, the matter was settled in Mid April 2009 with the easement of $30k with the agreement that the deck will remain as it was then.

Nasty Break Up and Custody Battle

Currently, Jeff and his Ex-partner Edward are going through a nasty court battle for the custody of their daughter, Monroe Christine Lewis.

On his show, SiriusXM Jeff he revealed that Edward and his lawyer want 50% custody along with the child support. Even he wants their daughter to be renamed from Monroe Christine Lewis to Monroe Christine Edward Lewis.

Also, added that Edward left the home and went to a hotel to live.
