Matty Healy attended Taylor Swift‘s concert on Friday night, May 5, in Nashville amid dating rumors.
The 1975 frontman, 34, sat in the VIP area while Swift performed at the first of her three sold-out shows at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
This is the ongoing sixth-headlining tour of Taylor Swift that began on March 17, 2023, in Glendale. The Era tour will come to an end in Inglewood, California on August 9, 2023.
The “Somebody Else” singer was captured in the crowd wearing a casual blue shirt underneath a black t-shirt that he paired with blue jean pants.
Besides, fans noticed Swift mouthing exactly the same words Healy was captured saying before The 1975’s performance of “About You” in Manila on May 3. During the singer’s performance of “Cardigan,” she mouthed,
“This one is about you. You know who you are. I love you,”
As of now, the video has gone viral on the internet where Swift and Healy uttered the same words while on stage during their respective concerts.

According to The Daily Mail report, the rumored couple was spotted in the back of a car on their way to Swift’s Nashville apartment after the performance.
The blossoming romance actually saw just a few days after a source confirmed to The Sun that Healy intended to attend Swift’s Nashville show. The Sun reported,
“Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of FaceTiming and texting, but she cannot wait to see him again,”
In order to attend Swift’s concert, Matty really flew in from the Philippines, where he had two shows to perform alongside his bandmates.

Back in 2014, the singer of “Black Space” and the frontman of 1975 were in a romantic relationship.
The rumors first sparked in November 2014 when Healy was spotted wearing a white T-shirt with the cover artwork for Swift’s album “1989” during his rock band’s performance at The Rave in Milwaukee.
After that, Swift caught up at one of the 1975 concerts days later at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles alongside Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding.
In December 2014, the Grammy winner attended a different show on The 1975’s tour alongside her friend Karlie Kloss at Terminal 5 in New York City.
Their frequent interactions fueled dating speculation, which grew more intense after the “Chocolate” singer stated he and Swift had been hanging out since that October. He quipped at the time,
“We exchanged numbers. Let’s see what happens.”

He added,
“I mean, bloody hell, what am I going to do, go out with Taylor Swift? She’s a sensation. I wouldn’t say no.”
However, Healy later made it clear that the rumors were nothing more than “ridiculous” during his appearance on the Aussie radio show. In January 2015, he said,
“It is bloody fake. It’s all fake. It’s all a farce. There’s no, like, relationship or anything happening.”
