The reality show Dancing With The Stars always comes with many talents along with the news. The airing of the semi-final episode of DWTS, Season 28 was the package of many emotions.

The semi-final episode which was telecasted on November 18 was a quite wholehearted season. Not only the elimination but some of the in-between details made the episode emotional. The twisted voting out of James Van Der Beek shed some tears.

The tragic moment took place when he mentioned his wife’s miscarriage. His wife went through the tragedy before his contemporary dance of the night. Despite, the sorrowful moment he was able to perform as his wife wanted to see him dance.

After the reveal, his first mistake on the stage made sense. His contemporary on Hozier’s “Take Me To Church.” left everyone in tears.

Another heartwarming story was of another contestant, Kel Mitchell. The saddening story of him losing his childhood friend to gun violence left everyone stunned. Meanwhile, Hannah Brown‘s devastating situation she went through was another emotional breakdown.

Former contestant of ‘The Bachelorette’ also has mentioned that DWTS has brought many positive aspects to her life. Furthermore, she also mentioned:

“I’ve been through a lot on television and my whole life has been exposed to everybody. There have been ups and downs.”

“I think this is also something that has those ups and down but it has been such a great therapy for me. And I feel like that’s what people get to see. I get to come out every Monday and shine.”

Conflicts between the contestants

The reality show always comes with some conflicts between the contestant. The competition and the winning mentality create some cold war. There was a revelation of James Van Der Beek and partner Emma Slater being against  Ally Brooke and partner Sasha Farber in the bottom two.”

In the episode, Carrie Ann Inaba was all in tears while she was voting to keep Brooke. While Bruno Tonioli didn’t seem that happy with the vote. Another contestant sobbed into tears while begging to let her vote to keep James Van Der Beek.
