Update: Jo De La Rosa and Taran Gray Peirson married in May 2022, in the backyard of a private residence in the Palos Verdes Estates area of Los Angeles.

Jo De La Rosa rose to fame after appearing on the American reality show Real Housewives of Chicago. The reality star excitingly revealed the news of her new milestone in her relationship with Taran Gray Peirson.

The couple met back in 2020 during the pandemic after she joined the dating app when she was bored. The reality star announced the news of her engagement by flaunting her ring on Instagram.

Jo De La Rosa hit a new milestone in her relationship with Taran Gray Peirson. She announced her engagement with Taran over the weekend.

The RHOC star shared a picture of her and Taran lying on the bed while she was flaunting her engagement ring. She also mentioned the picture was after a day after she said YES.

On the other hand, Peirson also shared an up-close image of the ring on his Instagram. The Hollywood producer and composer popped the big question to the reality star on Friday night.

They recently celebrated their first anniversary of dating in 2020 during the pandemic. On the occasion of their anniversary, Peirson shared a heartfelt message calling De La Rosa the “gorgeous, hilarious, spontaneous, gentle, God-loving woman” he had dreamed of.

He shared a picture of them smiling outside The Butcher, The Baker saying:

“She’s proof that if you’re patient enough, and you take wise advice from your friends along the way, you’ll find your unicorn. God knew what I needed better than I did. Happy anniversary sweetheart, let’s change the date next year.”

How did they meet?

Like many young couples in today’s time, the RHOC star met her new fiance back on a dating app. During the mid-pandemic back in 2020, she met Taran on a dating app called Hinge.

The RHOC star later revealed she joined the app because she was bored during the pandemic. When they first connected, he made it clear he was not interested in meeting up right away due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead of meeting up right away during the pandemic, they flirted online for a while. They spoke with each other on the phone for the first time after two weeks.

However, Taran had no idea she was a reality star until he listened to an episode of her “PopCandy” podcast. It quickly went into a whirlwind relationship from talking on a phone to Zoom multiple times a day. They made their relationship official via Zoom before meeting each other in person.

The RHOC star explained in a video saying:

“I just felt like we had so much in common. So, in the past, I’ve dated a lot of business guys. So you were — he was — a breath of fresh air because I was working in a really creative industry and so it was just nice to connect over that.”
