Being born royal doesn’t necessarily mean you have to waft around palaces and banqueting with dignitaries. There are many of the world’s royals have regular jobs or have had periods in their lives where they have worked full-time.

Here are the royals who have chosen their career paths.

1)Peter Phillips

Peter Mark Andrew Phillips was born on 15 November 1977. He is a member of the British royal family. He is the son of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips and was the Queen’s first grandchild.

Aside from his Royal duties, he is currently working as a managing director for SEL UK, a boutique sports management company. He has a successful career in business management.

2)Princess Beatrice

Princesses Beatrice Elizabeth Mary was born on 8 August 1988. She is the elder daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York. She is tenth in line of succession to the British throne, followed by her sister, Princess Eugenie.

Princess Beatrice is vice president of partnerships and strategy at American software company Afiniti, where she also oversees a program to engage senior business leaders around the world to support women in leadership roles.

3)Princess Eugenie

Princess Eugenie Victoria Helena was born on 23 March 1990. She is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York. She is 11th in the line of succession to the British throne, after her elder sister, Princess Beatrice.

Princess Eugenie used her art history and English literature degrees from Newcastle University to first work for an online auction firm before becoming a director in 2017 at the London art gallery Hauser & Wirth.

4)Prince Harry

Prince Henry Charles Albert David was born on 15 September 1984. He is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales, he is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne.

Prince Harry joined the military as Officer Cadet Wales and went on to serve in the army for a full 10 years. However, after marrying Meghan Markle, the couple famously stepped away from their royal duties, and now dabble in television and podcast production in Los Angeles, among other things.

5)Prince William

Prince William Arthur Philip Louis was born on 21 June 1982. . He is the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales. Since birth, he has been second in the line of succession to the British throne.

Prince William also trained in the military first with the Royal Air Force and then with the navy. By 2010 he was a fully qualified helicopter pilot.

In 2014 he joined the East Anglian Air Ambulance as a search and rescue pilot, working shifts and dealing with critical care cases. He worked as an RAF helicopter rescue pilot. It wasn’t until 2017 that he began taking on full-time royal duties.

6)Princess Zara Tindall

Princess Zara Anne Elizabeth Tindall was born on 15 May 1981. She is the daughter of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips. She is the eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. At birth, she was sixth in the line of succession to the British throne she is currently 20th in line.

She has her range of equestrian clothing for the brand Musto, named ZP176. Princess Zara has won numerous events in her field, including a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics and the Eventing World Championship in Aachen in 2006.

Currently works as the director at Cheltenham Racecourse helping to promote Britain’s equestrian Olympic team ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
