Anna Wintour does not want to work with Kanye West in the future

After Kanye‘s recent anti-Semitic rants and support for the White Lives Matter cause, many of his friends including Anna Wintour have chosen to maintain their distance from him.

Now, a Vogue spokesperson revealed that the iconic magazine does not plan to work with the rapper due to his controversial behavior.

Wintour, who is the editor-in-chief of the magazine also has no intentions to have any professional links to the designer.

Wintour, 72, has had a close relationship with the Love Lockdown singer, 45, for a long time.

The power woman first invited Ye to the 2009 Met Gala. She even featured him with his now ex-wife Kim Kardashian on the cover after their wedding in 2014.

Wintour and West have always shared a very close professional link. Just last month, Wintour modeled Ye’s Yeezy new sunglasses line in press images for promotion. She did so even after the rapper publicly called out his ex-wife online about their four children.

Last month, one of Anna’s editors Gabriella Karefa-Johnson criticized the rapper turned designer for wearing a White Lives Matter T-shirt at his Paris Fashion Show.

Ye then mocked her fashion sense after which many celebrities turned against him. Then on October 4, Wintour tried to make things better by sending one of her old friends Baz Luhrmann, to film a reconciliation between West and Karefa.

Anna, however, has had enough of Ye’s never-ending controversial statements. And now, the fashion royalty is eventually ready to cut ties with the singer after his threats against Jewish people. Ye proudly doubled down on his statements even after he had an opportunity to apologize.

No more Met Galas and Vogue covers for Kanye

A source close to the magazine expressed what Anna was feeling and said:

“Anna has had enough,”
“She has made it very clear inside Vogue that Kanye is no longer part of the inner circle.”

It’s still not clear, what Anna will do to cut Kanye off. Maybe the magazine will not carry the images from his fashion shows. Moreover, it is also possible that Ye will never be invited to the Met Gala ever again. He will also not be featured on the cover of the iconic magazine.

Amid all the troubles surrounding him, Ye who is dating model Juliana Nalu expressed his love for his ex-wife Kim.

Just when their divorce is also final, Ye, in his interview with Piers Morgan confessed that he will always love Kim.

The rapper said:

”I may be divorced on paper, but I’m not divorcedof the idea of being protector,”
”Her name is no longer West. And my name is now only Ye. If we were ever to be seen together again, what would our name be? Kimye?”

The father of four also vowed to protect Kim.

The pair split after 7 years of marriage in February 2021.
