Will Smith surprised his estranged wife Jada Pinkett Smith onstage in Baltimore Wednesday night to declare his love for her.
The pair were joined by their children Jaden, 25, and Willow, 22, as well as Will’s son Trey, 30.
Jada spoke at the Enoch Pratt Free Library to promote her memoir “Worthy.”

Will Smith made a surprise appearance onstage in Baltimore to give love to his estranged wife Jada Pinkett Smith on Wednesday.

The Seven Pounds star told the actress during his appearance at the Enoch Pratt Free Library,

“I just really wanted to come out and just be here and hold it down for you the way you have held it down for me,”

He said, according to the Baltimore Sun,

“We have had a very, very long and tumultuous [relationship]. We call it ‘brutiful.’ It was brutal and beautiful at the same time,”

Jada, who was at her Baltimore School for the Arts Alma mater to promote her memoir Worthy, was shocked and covered her mouth with one hand as the Oscar-winning actor expressed his love for her.

The event became a family affair as Jada and Will’s children Jaden, 25, and Willow, 22, and the Nutty Professor actor’s mother, Adrienne Banfield Norris, who recently celebrated her 70th birthday, also supported her.

Will’s 30-year-old son, Trey Smith, whom he shares with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino, also joined the family’s special outing.

According to the Baltimore Banner, Will also said that the couple’s troubled marriage has been a “sloppy public experiment in unconditional love,”

He shared,

“As I stand here before you today, I am happier than I’ve ever been in my entire life,”
“I have achieved every single thing I have ever wanted in my entire life.”

Smith added,

“There is not one thing left that I desire in this world — all of the awards, all of the money, the family — everything I’ve ever dreamed,”

How did fans react to Will’s heartfelt speech for his estranged wife?

The actor who slapped Chris Rock last year at the Oscars also thanked Pinkett for supporting his family and career. He said his dreams were “largely built on the foundation of Jada’s sacrifices.”

He also expressed his gratitude to Jada for raising Willow and Jaden, as well as her stepson Trey.

Will said,

“Can you show up and love somebody for the rest of your life, even when you don’t agree with them?”
“Jada is the best friend I have ever had on this planet and I am going to show up for her and support her for the rest of my life.”
