Black Panther Stars Pay Tribute to Chadwick Boseman 2 Years After His Death!
- Fans and friends of the late Chadwick Boseman are paying their tributes to him on his second death anniversary.

Stars remember Chadwick Boseman on his 2nd death anniversary
It’s been 2 years since the Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman died. The actor passed away in 2020 from colon cancer.
The actor kept his diagnosis private. Fans all around the world were shocked by the news.
Director Ryan Coogler and other cast honored Boseman by posting various tributes online, letting the world know the person he was behind the camera as well as on the screen.
Letitia Wright, who played the character of Shuri in Black Panther and will be in Black Panther 2, took to her Instagram to pay homage to her co-star.
On her IG story, she posted a picture of the duo and captioned it:
”I miss hearing your laugh, I always tried to make you smile whenever we saw each other.”
She then posted another one that featured Black Panther’s cast and Ryan Coogler.
Lupita Nyong’o posted a video in remembrance of the actor and captioned it:
“Kept it real, kept it kind.”
Lupita expresses how it felt to do the Black Panther Franchise without Boseman
Winston Duke, who also is an actor in the Black Panther film commented on Lupita’s post:
“Incredibly generous man…always sharing abad helping and giving and loving… ugh… my heart … Ure missed beyond any words my brother… love love! Thanks, Lupita for posting our treasure… man oh man!! ❤️❤️❤️”
Lupita also talked about the new franchise in the Black Panther story titled Wakanda Forever which is set to release in November. She revealed that it would be a challenge for them to do the film without Boseman.
The film is a highly anticipated sequel to 2018’s Black Panther. Despite all the hardships, Nyong’o was happy that they were able to make the film.
She said in an interview:
“It was very therapeutic.It restored a sense of hope for me in making it, and I think we’ve expanded the world of Wakanda in ways that will blow people’s minds — not just Wakanda, but the Black Panther world. It’s going to blow people’s minds, and I just cannot wait until it’s not a secret anymore.
It’s a real tragedy that fans will never get to see the original Black Panther. But Boseman’s fellow actors want his fans to know that he was not just a hero in the MCU but a real-life hero as well.
