Cesc Fàbregas was born as Francesc Fàbregas Soler on 4 May 1987, in Arenys de Mar, Spain. Cesc is of Spanish nationality and belongs to the Catalan Spanish ethnicity.

He is the son of Spanish parents Francesc Fàbregas Sr and Núria Soler. His father is a property company owner and his mother is the owner of a pastry company.
