Drew Barrymore has revealed she has been seeing someone for three and a half years.
The actress revealed on Monday’s episode of her talk show that she met her mystery man on the Raya dating app.
Barrymore was single for years following her 2016 divorce from her third husband, Will Kopelman.

Drew Barrymore opens up about her love life

Drew Barrymore is finally not single and she hasn’t been for three years.

In a preview for Monday’s episode of the Drew Barrymore Show, the actress told Gwyneth Paltrow that she has been dating someone for the last three years, as per Entertainment Tonight.

Barrymore further opened up about her new man saying that they met on the exclusive member-only dating app, Raya.

The Never Been Kissed actress also revealed later in the episode that she brought her new beau to a wedding.

She recalls,

“I invited him to a wedding next weekend, and he said, ‘Wow, after three and a half years you are going to invite me to a wedding?’”

She then confessed to Paltrow that Taylor Swift’s new public relationship with NFL player Travis Kelce inspired her to open up about her own.

Referring to the Grammy winner’s first appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs game in September, Barrymore said,

“I just want to say, for me personally, I have been single for seven years [and] seeing her on that first date out there in the box with his family, I had a big Oprah a-ha moment,”

Drew added,

“There was something so normal about it, and obviously Taylor Swift is everything but normal, but I’m a female, I’m going to go out on a date with a male, I’m not going to overthink this, I am not going to be the dark horse and be secretive and weird about it.”

The Blended star continued,

“This was evidence of not being affected by what other people think … it was so calm, confident and normal that it just made me think I should do this too.”

Barrymore, 48, has been single since ending her marriage to art consultant Will Kopelman in 2016. They were married for three years.

A source said at the time,

“They’ve been having some difficulties, but they remain close for the sake of their kids,”

The now-exes share two daughters: Olive, 11, and Frankie, 9.

Barrymore shared her dating experiences post-divorce

Since the split, Barrymore has been sending mixed signals to fans about her dating life.

In 2020, she said that she would never marry again but wouldn’t mind dating.

She told People at the time,

“It doesn’t mean that maybe I wouldn’t like to meet someone, especially when my kids go off to college,”
“Or a year from now, I could be totally in love. I’m open to it; I’m not seeking it. My cup runneth over. I have so much love in my life.”

She also recalled how some of the dates didn’t go well for her. She recalled,

“I went on a couple of dates. A lot of people totally ghosted me,”
“And one time I was waiting to go on a date, and at the time we were supposed to meet he just wrote, ‘Yeah, I can’t.’ But I’d rather hang out with my friends.”

Last year, the Golden Globe confirmed that she was finally dating just to backtrack in June of this year.

She told NY magazine,

“I spent a lot of my life loving romance and drama and all of that. I just burnt myself out on it,”
“I genuinely am tired and exhausted.”
