Harvey Weinstein is not getting out of prison anytime soon.

The extra punishment comes amid Weinstein’s 23-year sentence after a judge pronounced him guilty of raping and sexually assaulting multiple women in 2020.

On Thursday, the disgraced producer, 70, spoke ahead of his sentencing, saying,

“I maintain that I’m innocent. I never raped or sexually assaulted Jane Doe 1. I never knew this woman, and the fact is she doesn’t know me. This is about money,”

Last December, Harvey was pronounced guilty of one count of forcible rape, one count of oral copulation, and one count of sexual penetration by an object.

Four different women, whose identities have been hidden accused the producer of sexually assaulting them from 2004 to 2013.

Siebel Newsom claimed that she first met Weinstein in 2005  when she was an aspiring actress. As per her statement, Harvey invited her to his hotel room and she obliged.

She said during the trial,

“I was so violated and I don’t know how that happened,”

“I didn’t see the clues and I didn’t know how to escape.”
