Jim Carrey hosts star-studded 62nd pre-birthday celebration
‘A pre-birthday bash‘! Jim Carrey kicked off his birthday month with a star-studded pre-birthday event on Wednesday, January 3.
The birthday celebration was held in Los Angeles, USA, in San Vicente Bungalows. On January 17, Jim Carrey will turn 62.
Carrey was pictured outside the restaurant wearing a tan jacket over a black T-shirt and holding a birthday gift under his arm.
A security man standing next to Carrey also carried a pink cake box to a nearby car.
During his rare appearance, Jim also unveiled a brand-new long hairstyle.
The party was joined by fellow Hollywood celebrities including his close pals Adam Sandler, Seth Green, Bill Burr, Jeff Ross, Dustin Hoffman, Jimmy Kimmel, and more.
Despite the fact that Jimmy is not in the mood to party right now due to a recent dispute with Aaron Rodgers, he attended Carrey’s party.
The 56-year-old presenter recently had a public spat with Aaron, when the Jets quarterback implied to him that he was in a relationship with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
However, Kimmel has been refuting the allegation, claiming that he has never “met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein.”
What’s Jim Carrey doing nowadays?
Jim Carrey is a retired actor. He devoted over three decades of his life to the entertainment industry. In March 2022, Carrey announced his retirement from acting in a statement to Acess Hollywood.
He said at the time,
“Well, I’m retiring. Yeah, probably. I’m being fairly serious, It depends. If the angels bring some sort of script that’s written in gold ink that says to me that it’s going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road, but I’m taking a break.”
“I feel like – and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists – I have enough. I’ve done enough. I am enough,”
Following the success of his acting career, he decided to commit his remaining years to painting.
