Louise Redknapp met the music producer Denis Ingoldsby at the age of 16 and subsequently introduced Denis to Kelle Bryan. Kelle, Louise, Easter, and Vernie Bennet formed a band named Eternal in 1992 and recorded a number of hits during the 1990s.

The band’s single ‘Stay’ entered the UK charts at number sixteen and climbed to number four. Their debut album ‘Always and Forever was the first album by a female group to achieve over a million sales in the UK.

Louise Redknapp left the band in 1995 in order to pursue her solo career. In 1996, she released her debut studio album Naked and it reached #7 in the UK. Also, she released the albums Woman in Me’ which reached #5 in 1997, ‘Elbow Beach’ which reached #12 in 2000, and ‘Finest Moments’ which reached #6 in 2002.
