1. Tom Parker
Tom Parker, a member of the British boy band The Wanted was pronounced dead on March 30, 2022, following his battle with brain cancer. The late singer was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma at the age of 31.
The mourning wife of Parker, Kelsey Hardwick revealed the tragic death news with a heartbreaking statement, on Instagram,
“Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence. We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children,”

2. Terry Hall
Terry Hall, the frontman for the British ska revival band The Specials died on 19 December 2022 following a short illness. The death news of the celebrated English singer Hall at 63 was reported by his band via Instagram announcement writing,
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing, following a brief illness, of Terry, our beautiful friend, brother and one of the most brilliant singers, songwriters and lyricists this country has ever produced. Terry was a wonderful husband and father and one of the kindest, funniest, and most genuine of souls.”
3. Shirley Eikhard died at 67
Something To Talk About Singer Eikhard died on December 15, 2022, Thursday in Orangeville, Ontario at the age of 67.
The late Canadian singer-songwriter was suffering complications from cancer as publicist Eric Alper confirmed to be the death reason. Bonnie Raitt tweeted paying tribute to her songwriter following her death from a long battle with cancer,
“I’m deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my friend Shirley Eikhard, the wonderful Canadian singer/songwriter who wrote my hit song, “Something to Talk About.” My condolences go out to her family and friends.”
4. Jerry Lee Lewis is dead at 87
Rock n’ roll pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis took his last breath just days after his death hoax on October 28, 2022. The Great Balls of Fire singer Jerry Lee Lewis passed away at Desoto County home, Mississippi, south of Memphis at the age of 87.
Jerry Lee Lewis was one of the most loved musicians from the ’50s era who trended for his gospel songs. Million Dollar Quartet, Who’s Gonna Play This Old Piano? and Touching Home, are a few to name.

5. Christine McVie dead
US singer Christine McVie who played for the band Fleetwood Mac has died at the age of 79 following her brief illness. The Little Lies singer McVie took her last breath on November 30, 2022.
Songbird, Don’t Stop, and Little Lies singer had an outpouring of tributes. Her musician bandmate Stevie Nicks also described her as “my best friend in the whole world”.
6. Jesse Powell
Grammy-nominated R&B singer Jesse Powell dies peacefully in his Los Angeles home at the age of 51. His sisters Trina and Tamara Powell confirmed the news on Wednesday morning, September 14, 2022, writing,
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and uncle Jesse Powell. Jesse loved music and he especially loved his fans who supported him throughout his career. We want you all to know that you meant the world to him.”
7. Audrey Leybourne Dead
Audrey Leybourne who auditioned for the 12th season of Britain’s Got Talent at the age of 90 on the 2018 season of the singing reality show died in 2022.
Audrey Leybourne died peacefully at the age of 95 years after she impressed judges, Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden with her cover of I Wanna Be Loved By You.
