The Adoption of the baby

Hoda revealed she has adopted a baby girl and now she is her daughter. She kept her name, Haley Joy Kotb, and also said that the baby was born on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

About her baby, she said,

“She’s a Valentine’s baby. She is the love of my life.”

Kotb, in an interview with Today, revealed about her baby and also revealed that her biological mother said,

“We’ve been waiting a long time for you.”

Kotb moved in with her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman, last year. Previously, she was married to former University of New Orleans tennis coach, Burzis Kanga.

The couple started having differences after the two years of their marriage. Hence the couple decided to separate and divorced in 2007 after two years of marriage and had no children.

She got congratulatory messages from her colleagues and friends. Matt Lauer shared,

“This little girl Haley is the luckiest girl. You’re going to be one of the most fantastic moms I can ever imagine.”

One of her best friends, Kathie Lee Gifford said,

“We are thrilled for you. You were made to be a mom.”

Carson Daly added humor to her statement saying,

“You’re going to be an incredible mother. You thought you drank a lot of wine before? Just wait.”

To which Kotb replied,

“And then my soul saw you and it kind of went ‘Oh there you are. I’ve been looking for you.’”

Hanging with Friends

Hoda also spent quality time with her best friends! She then shared the cutest photo of her daughter, Haley Joy, spending time with Kathie Lee Gifford.

Gifford had held the newborn while Hotb sweetly touched her baby girl’s little feet and captioned.

Kotb has been on maternity leave since she adopted the baby. She is living with her boyfriend Joel Schiffman who is a financier in NYC.

Haley Joy hangs out with ‘baby whisperer’

Hoda Kotb was just given a friendly lesson on motherhood by Maria Shriver.

Hoda shared a couple of photos of her teacher Shriver holding her daughter, Haley Joy. They’re all so happy together!
