Why does Shanna Moakler not like the Kardashians?

Shanna Moakler revealed that she has her own reasons for not liking the Kardashians. But as long as they are good to her children, she is okay with that.

Shanna is the ex-wife of Travis Barker, Kourtney Kardashian’s current husband. Moakler and the Blink-182 drummer share two children, Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17. However, their marriage ended just four years later in 2008.

The former beauty queen said,

“I have my own personal reasons for not liking the Kardashians, which I won’t get into but as long as he’s happy [and] as long as they are good to my kids, that’s all I care about.”

Travis, 47, is now expecting his first child with Kourtney. The two announced last month that they were having a baby boy.

Moakler has not been afraid of showing that she is not a fan of the Kardashian clan. In fact, the model who starred in a reality show Meet The Barkers with her ex-husband during their marriage also slammed the POOSH creator for posting ”more social media pictures] of my kids [than] her own.”

While many fans claim that she does so because of jealousy over Barker and Kardashian’s marriage, the ex-Miss USA explained that is not the case at all.

She said,

“I haven’t been with him for well over a decade,”
“But you know what — he’s not mine.”

Moakler added,

“He’s not the person that I was with anymore. He’s a completely different human being, so I don’t even really know him as a man right now. I don’t even know if we would be compatible or even good for one another anymore because he’s not the person that he was on ‘Meet The Barkers.’”

Shanna’s kids are close to the Kardashians

Shanna Moakler was previously engaged to boxer Oscar De La Hoya in 1998. They welcomed daughter Atiana De La Hoya before parting ways in 2000.

Travis also shares a great bond with Atiana.

The Kardashians star also shares three kids with her ex-husband Scott Disick: Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8. They all get along really well with Barker’s children.

Shanna’s last public relationship was with Matthew Rondeau, 29. They called it quits for the second time in the summer of 2021.

Shanna has had ups and downs with her kids over the years.

Her youngest daughter once publicly said,

“My mom has never completely been in my life. Can you guys stop painting her out to be an amazing mom?,”

However, the duo reconciled shortly after that.
