Trevor Ariza has been playing basketball since 2004.  He started playing basketball professionally after being selected by New York Knicks in the 2004 NBA draft. He became the youngest player to ever wear and play for the Knicks.

Moreover, he was traded to Orlando Magic along with Penny Hardaway in exchange for Steve Francis in February 2006. He was soon traded to Los Angeles Lakers in November 2007.
