‘Happy Married Life‘! Kat Dennings and Andrew W.K. have taken a milestone step in their relationship.

The couple exchanged vows last month after almost three years of dating. The nuptials took place on November 27 in a backyard ceremony at their Los Angeles home attended by only 15 guests.

Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song were also present at the ceremony to celebrate their close friends’ wedding.

The new bride, 37, gushed about their wedding to Vogue,

“We realized that a small home wedding was too cozy to resist, Plus, all our stuff was there so we wouldn’t have to pack anything.”

“I wanted our wedding to feel completely different from an ‘industry event’ in every way, I wanted to be hands-on with entire experience and feel like we had built our moment together from scratch.”

Although they could have hired a professional, she explained how she and Andrew decided to do all the floral decorations themselves for their wedding. She continued,

“It was incredibly emotional for both of us, and the love surrounding us was very palpable, I felt truly lucky to be marrying such a kind and loving man. The ceremony itself was kind of a blur, but in the best way. We just looked into each other’s eyes and were so excited to finally be husband and wife.”

On her wedding day, Kat wore an ivory-colored gown designed by Alexander McQueen. The Two Broke Girls star also explained to Vogue that she chose this color because she is a very pale person and doesn’t like herself in white.

Andrew, on the other hand, looked dapper in a dark purple Brioni suit with a shirt and tie from Anto Shirtmakers.

In the photos, W.K. can be seen posing against a pole wearing a black T-shirt which she simply captioned with a black heart.

The next month, the couple went public on Instagram. Dennings shared a photo of W.K. kissing her on the forehead while W.K. shared a similar snap of the couple kissing on his Instagram Story.

A week later, The actress paid a sweet birthday tribute to Andrew sharing a PDA-filled photo of the two on Twitter alongside a caption,

“Happy Birthday @AndrewWK,”

Similarly, the now-married couple shocked the world as the couple announced their engagement just a month after they revealed their relationship. Kat shared several photos of the two on Instagram in which she proudly flaunted her diamond ring.

The duo since never been shy to flaunt their romance as they often appeared on each other social media feeds. Dennings also made a cameo appearance in Andrew’s music video titled, “Everybody Sins,” which was released on July 14, 2021.

Similarly, Andrew made a guest appearance on a season 2 episode of Dennings’ Hulu series, Dollface, which aired on February 11, 2022.

The same month, the Thor actress made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show where she revealed how they had a joint proposal. She recalled,

“I was like, ‘This is my person. This is it. I can’t live without him. This is the man I’m supposed to be with.’ And we looked at each other, and we both proposed at the same time,”
“I made it through the wilderness and found this incredible person, and yeah. No one believes me. But I assure you, that’s what happened.”

In June 2022, the couple made a red carpet debut at the Los Angeles premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder.
