In April 2003, he became the speechwriter of the senator, Joh Coryn as a chief Speechwriter. As a speechwriter, he was associated for 2 years interval. In March 2005, he changed his career as a speechwriter and became the book editor of Regnery Publishing and worked in the post for around one year.

In March 2006, The Washington Post hired him as a blogger to contribute a conservative point of view. The following month, he joined APCO Worldwide as an online writer and project manager on a contract basis.

In August 2009, he became a senior member of the Heartland Institute. He worked for the institute for around 6 years. In the meantime, he was also promoted to the managing director of the firm.

In September 2013, he launched the online magazine, The Federalist which covers politics, policy, and religion. Currently, he is a publisher for the magazine.
