The reality star Dayna Kathan confirmed her departure from the Bravo reality series, The VanderpumpRules.

She made her first brief appearances on season 7 in a supporting role later, she joined as a full-time cast member in 2019.

The star confirmed the news via IG in April 2021. She wrote,

“I’m not returning but excited to see next szn! The pod will be back soon, you’re amazing, thank you!!”

She told E! News,

“It was a tough decision for me but ultimately the right one. I’m grateful for the experience and wish everyone on the show all the best!”

Several other cast members of The VanderpumpRules were fired

Before Dayna’s departure, other cast members including Max Boyen, Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Brett Caprioni were fired from the show due to their racist actions. On 26 August 2020, Bravo and Evolution Media released a statement about the fired cast.

In December 2021, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright also parted ways with Rules. The other cast members who are returning for season nine include Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, and Raquel Leviss.
