Like every year, this year’s celebration was also hosted by Ryan Seacrest. He has been hosting the show for a long time now starting since 2006. New Year’s Rockin’ Eve sure has a history but Ryan has a deep down history with the show as well. Ryan was not alone for this show. He was accompanied by comedian and actress Jenny McCarthy.

The headlining live performances included Mariah Carey (performed Vision of Love and Hero), Camila Cabello (sang Havana with all her energy), Nick Jonas (played Home and Jealous), and Sugarland (Performed the medley of their hit songs: Stuck Like Glue, Baby Girl and Something More) in The New York’s Time Square.

Mariah Carey faced a lot of criticisms after her last year’s performance when she was found lipsyncing. The music was cut out in the middle and all the fans were quite disappointed as well. But this year she returned back with a blast this year and made up or her mistake from the early year.

And of course, Camila Cabello, who recently started her solo career, topping all the charts with her new song Havana was there as well. Nick Jonas who performed in the show back in 2009 with his former band Jonas Brothers was back with his solo songs. Sugarland also came back on stage together after six long years and promised to be active this year.

These were really the celebration everyone had been waiting for. Even in the cold weather, the performers didn’t stop giving great shows and interacting with the fans. They shared the end of the year with their lovely fans with all smiles and shines.
