‘Friends’ pay rich tributes to the departed actor, Matthew Perry!

Tributes to the deceased Matthew Perry

Matthew Perry portrayed Chandler Bing in the popular TV series Friends. But he died a sudden death on 28 October 2023 at his Los Angeles home where he was found unresponsive in the backyard hot tub. The final cause of death is awaited but the law enforcement authorities stressed that no foul play is suspected.

On 16 November 2023 on the show CBS Mornings, Lauren said:

“No one made me laugh as hard,”

She added that he was extremely happy in the last one year of his life after the 2022 release of his memoir book Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing. She continued:

“It’s just a really tragic loss and he leaves his beautiful work behind and that’s something to be thankful for,”
“And again, the book really meant something to him. So it was a really happy year for him.”
