Good Morning America (GMA) correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton and her fiance Tom Werner exchanged vows on Saturday, November 5, 2022.

The couple, who announced their engagement in January 2022, walked down the aisle in an unconventional way. Ashton says of the nuptials,

“I’m so happy because I never thought I’d find love like this. But when you’re older, it doesn’t take long to recognize when you’ve found your soul mate.”

The wedding ceremony was held at Harmonie Club in New York City in front of their loved ones including Sara Gilbert, Donna Karan, Corey Gamble Al Michaels, George Stephanopoulos, Ali Wentworth, and more.

The bride, 53, wore a Ralph Lauren Collection gown for the big day accompanied by her son Alex, 24, and daughter Chloe, 22.

Following the vows, the newlywed couple hosted a reception at the ancient Temple of Dendur for dinner as well as the party hostess by the Elan Music band.

Similarly, they were preparing for a romantic honeymoon in the Caribbean.

Jennifer shared a series of photos on her respective Instagram handle of their lavish ceremony. In the photos, the beautiful couple is shown walking down the aisle in the luxurious venue of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Ashton looked gorgeous in a unique ivory-colored, long-sleeved dress jacket that is more blazer style than a traditional silhouette. Similarly, she completed the ensemble with the standard matching ivory lapels. The groom, on the other hand, looked dapper for a classic black-and-white tux with a bowtie.

Similarly, she captioned the post,

“I said YES! to Tom Werner.”

Also, she tagged photographer @andreasandnico who captured the couple’s stunning photos. As soon as she posted the photos in her IG grid, fans and colleagues showered the newlyweds with compliments and well-wishes in the post’s comment section.

This is Jennifer Ashton’s second marriage

Jennifer has married twice so far. She was first married to the late Dr. Robert Ashton Jr. Her ex-husband Robert was the late thoracic surgeon. The ex-couple together shared two children a son named Alex and a daughter Chloe.

Chloe plays hockey for The Lawrenceville School whereas Alex appears to have graduated from Columbia University in 2020. In 2017, Robert died by suicide just days after they finalized their divorce.
